What a wonderful golf season we have had. Great weather, great comradeship and great volunteers, which make our club a wonderful one to be part of.
As our golf season is winding down, I want to thank each of you for being a member of our ladies club. A special thank you to the executive committee, the captains, vice captains and all of you who have volunteered your time - for the weekly draws, special events, social gatherings and the Tee at Tor tournament. The Tee at Tor tournament is our major fundraiser and because of the volunteer efforts, was a very successful one. Again, thank you. We could not run the weekly schedule and all of these events without you. This past season, we have chosen to sponsor events and spend our funds on things that are more inclusive for all members. This included subsidized golf lessons and golf with the pro opportunities, and subsidized meals for our club events to keep your costs down. We have made a decision to continue on this path in the 2025 season. To that end, we will retain your membership fees at the same rate. We will no longer fund special tournaments that are geared for only a few select members. Also thank you for your patience as we transitioned through a number of changes this year designed to improve our golf experience and reduce the volunteer time required. We have received some great feedback from our member survey and we will continue on this journey. Lastly congratulations to our club champions. To recognize you, we will waive your membership fee for 2025. It has been my privilege to serve as your president this golf season. I look forward to seeing all of you on the course in 2025!
