TOR HILL TOURNAMENTS
Throughout the season we have "draws" or tournaments that are organized events that involve some form of competition or fun.
You don't have to be in a low handicap range to enter tournaments.
Again, our club’s goal is for everyone to have FUN throughout the whole season!!
The format and participation (i.e. morning section, afternoon section, and full club) will be explained by the captains and tournaments committee.
Some of the regular tournaments throughout the season are:
Warm-Up Tournament (Full Club):
This tournament involves one round of golf played on a specified date.
Rounds will have flights to allow for the participation of all members,
including new members who may not have yet established their handicaps.
Last Chance Tournament (Full Club):
This tournament involves one round of golf.
Rounds will have flights to allow for the participation of all members.
Doubles Tournament (Full Club):
Golfers are teamed up according to handicap (lowest to highest, etc.).
The round of golf is played in a best ball format. Prizes are awarded for first and second place teams.
Club Championship (Full Club):
This is a two day event, held in August.
All members (amateur, senior and masters) participate in flights according to handicap.
Members - Must have participated in five club events in order to play in the Club Championship.
Senior - must be 60 years of age or over as of April 01 of current year
Master - must be 70 years of age and over as of April 01 of current year
QUALIFYING ROUNDS
For external competitions, a number of qualifying rounds are scheduled throughout the season. Look for posters or sign-up sheets. The criteria for qualifying will vary according to the event. Some of these events are out of town and on weekdays.
These tournaments are an excellent way to meet new people as well as an opportunity to participate in a competitive environment.
The Tor Hill Ladies will reimburse the entry fees to players qualifying for these events.

Pro-Lady
You must play 1 of 2 qualifying scheduled rounds of golf to qualify.
Tor Hill Ladies Club sends 1 teams of four members each to this tournament which is played at a golf course TBD.
The teams consists of 1 Club Pro our Club Champion, our Senior Champion, and Low Net winner from qualifying rounds.
Should the Champions not be able to attend successful player/s participating in the qualifier will be assigned the position/s.
Fees for the three club players on the team are paid by the THLC, travel fees are not provided.

Rose Bowl Team Tournament
You must play 1 of 2 qualifying scheduled rounds of golf to qualify.
Two qualifying players will be placed on a team to represent THLGC.
The winning team must register online at https://www.golfsaskatchewan.org/.
Fee submission is required at that time, which will be reimbursed by sending an expense form to the THLC treasurer.
The minimum combined team handicap factor shall be 34.8 and the maximum team handicap factor shall not exceed 72.4.
No individual player's handicap factor may be lower than 16.5. If a player's handicap factor changes downward before registration date, an alternate golfer with a handicap factor of 18.1 or over, must be substituted or the team may be disqualified.
Should any participants that did not qualify still wish to participate they still may do so by
registering as a team of two players with Golf Saskatchewan at their own expense.
The tournament is held at various locations in the province, and involves two rounds of golf. Watch for information with details.
This is a fun tournament for the higher handicap players to participate in.
Interclub Championship
Each year ladies golf teams representing Regina Public and Private golf courses participate in a friendly one day 18hole challenge for bragging rights as the Regina Interclub Champions. There will be qualifying rounds scheduled for all Handicap levels.
One participant from each index range: 0-16.9 17.0-23.7 23.8-28.9 29.00-40.4 will qualify for the Tor Hill Team.
